Match the gauge, not the look

Gauge is the number that decides whether a piece goes through at all, and it should match what your piercer put in. If you are not sure of yours, ask them rather than guessing from a photograph.

About this piece

We make these four clickers with an integrated hinge that snaps shut without loose balls to fumble with. The thin 20G wire measures 0.8mm across, paired with a 9mm inner diameter. Your gauge should match what the piercer put in.

Details

Surgical steel build

We machine each hoop from 316L surgical steel, a hypoallergenic material built for daily wear. The smooth surface is polished smooth right through the hinge joint to sit comfortably against the skin.

Four distinct finishes

This set gives you four pieces in the same 9mm diameter: raw steel, gold, rose gold, and black. You get four different tones without changing the physical gauge or fit.

Integrated hinged clicker

The curved segment opens on a sturdy pin and clicks back into the main ring by hand. No tools are required, and there are no tiny detached beads to drop down the sink.

Nine millimetre diameter

An inner diameter of 9mm gives extra clearance compared to smaller rings. Check your placement before choosing, because wire thickness and inner spacing decide how close the ring sits.
