About this piece

A six-piece set of hinged segment clickers made from 316L surgical steel. Each ring measures 18 gauge, which is 1.0mm thick, with a tight 6mm inside diameter. The hinged segment swings open by hand and snaps shut securely, leaving no loose balls to misplace over a bathroom sink. Gauge should match what the piercer put in.

18 gauge thickness

We shape these hoops at 18G, or 1.0mm thickness. This is thinner than standard 16G rings and slightly stouter than standard 20G ear studs. Check your current jewelry size before selecting a 6mm inside diameter.

Hinged clicker mechanism

The segment opens on a smooth hinge pin and snaps back into place without tools. It closes flush against the curve of the ring so there are no exposed edges to catch against surrounding skin.
