We machine these 18G hinged clickers with a smooth segment that swings open on a pin and snaps firmly shut by hand. The set gives you four pairs in diameters spanning 6mm to 12mm. Match your current gauge to the 1.0mm wire before choosing an inner diameter for your placement.

Details

Hinged clicker closure

The segment swings open on an integrated pin and snaps back into the channel without loose balls. You can press the latch closed by hand until it clicks, keeping the outer circle smooth all the way around.

Sizing the inner diameter

This pack includes four pairs measuring 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm across the inside. Snug placements like a tragus or nostril often take smaller rings, while daith, conch, or lobe placements may need wider clearance.

18 gauge steel wire

We form each ring from 316L surgical steel drawn to 1.0mm thickness and finished in a gold tone. The metal is smooth to the touch and hypoallergenic as specified in our shop materials.

Caring for the finish
