About this piece

We machine these 18G hoops from 316L surgical steel and coat them in a gold tone finish. The 8mm inner diameter fits close without pinching. Each hoop uses a built-in hinge that clicks shut by hand, leaving no loose segments or captive beads to lose. You get five identical pieces in the pack.

Hinged clicker mechanism

The segment swings open on a tiny pin and clicks back into the channel. You can open and close the ring using your fingers, so there is no loose bead to drop down the drain.

Eight millimeter diameter

This 8mm inner measurement works well for nostril, septum, helix, tragus, daith, rook, and conch placements. Match your gauge to what the piercer put in so the 1.0mm wire sits comfortably.

Gold tone surgical steel

We build each ring from solid 316L surgical steel, labeled hypoallergenic in our material specs. The surface is polished completely smooth all the way around so the joint passes through without snagging.
