Match the gauge, not the look

Gauge is the number that decides whether a piece goes through at all, and it should match what your piercer put in. If you are not sure of yours, ask them rather than guessing from a photograph.

About this piece

We machine these 20 gauge hoops with an integrated hinge that clicks shut by hand. The inner diameter measures 7mm across, giving a close fit for small placements. You receive four pieces in total, covering steel, gold, rose gold, and black finishes in 316L surgical steel.

Details

Gauge and inner diameter

This pack is 20 gauge, which measures 0.8mm thick, with an inside diameter of 7mm. Your jewelry gauge should match what your piercer put in to ensure a proper fit.

Hinged segment closure

The curved segment swings open on a flush pin and snaps closed without loose parts. If the tension ever shifts, gently squeeze the open ends together to reset the alignment.

Four color finishes

Each set includes four distinct tones: raw steel, gold, rose gold, and black. We polish the metal smooth across every surface so the ring glides through without catching.

Surgical steel material

We build these from solid 316L surgical steel, a hypoallergenic metal suited for everyday wear. Rinse with mild soap, dry with a soft cloth, and store them flat.
