Match the gauge, not the look

Gauge is the number that decides whether a piece goes through at all, and it should match what your piercer put in. If you are not sure of yours, ask them rather than guessing from a photograph.

About this piece

We machine these clicker hoops from 316L surgical steel with smooth, rounded edges along the hinge. The segment snaps shut without loose balls to drop. Match the gauge to what your piercer used, then pick the inner diameter that sits right on your ear, nose, or septum.

Details

Hinged clicker segment

The swing segment opens and snaps shut by hand without requiring pliers. It closes flush against the ring body so the joint passes through the channel without catching on tissue.

Surgical steel build

We form each hoop from 316L surgical steel and polish the outer curve to a bright mirror shine. The material is hypoallergenic and resists tarnishing during everyday wear.

Gauge and diameter

Available in 18G (1.0mm) and 16G (1.2mm) wire thickness across inner diameters from 6mm to 14mm, including 9mm. Pick the exact depth needed for your nostril, cartilage, or septum.

Five piece pack

Each set contains five identical clicker rings of the same size and finish. You get matching spares for multiple ear placements or backups stored together in the included pouch.
