Gauge is the number that decides whether a piece goes through at all, and it should match what your piercer put in. If you are not sure of yours, ask them rather than guessing from a photograph.

About this piece

We machined these labret studs at 16 gauge with an 8mm post length. The flat disk rests flush against the skin inside the lip or behind cartilage, while a prong-set clear stone sits on the front. Match the 1.2mm thickness to what your piercer used.

Details

Sixteen gauge post

The post measures 1.2mm in thickness, or 16 gauge, which matches standard cartilage and lip piercer sizing. The 8mm length gives enough clearance across tragus, helix, and labret placements.

Flat disk back

We turn the back of each post into a smooth flat disk. It sits flat against the gum or behind the ear instead of pressing a sharp end into your neck during sleep.

Four metal finishes

The pack includes steel, gold tone, rose gold tone, and black coated posts. Each piece is machined from 316L surgical steel and finished smooth along the full length of the shaft.

Clear cubic zirconia

A 2mm round clear cubic zirconia stone sits on the top end of each stud. We set the stone securely in the metal cup so the face remains bright and low profile.
