Match the gauge, not the look

About this piece

We build this navel barbell around two clear heart-cut cubic zirconia stones on a classic curved post. The top stone measures 5mm across and the larger bottom heart is 8mm. The post is 316L surgical steel, sized at 14 gauge and 10mm in length. Make sure your gauge matches what your piercer put in.

Details

Barbell sizing

The curved post is 14 gauge, or 1.6mm thick, with a wearable length of 10mm between the stones. That fits standard navel piercings without putting excess bar on display.

Heart cubic zirconia

We set two faceted clear cubic zirconia hearts into steel prongs. The smaller 5mm top heart sits above the navel rim while the 8mm heart rests below.

Surgical steel build

Our metal is 316L surgical steel, hypoallergenic and nickel free. We buff the surface smooth so the curved bar passes through without catching on the edges of the channel.

Care and handling

Unthread the top heart to insert the bar, then twist it down firmly until tight. Rinse with clean water and dry the settings with a soft cloth to keep the clear stones bright.
